History
Deborah Smith, owner of SplashDance Labrador Retrievers, has been breeding and training dogs for 30 years.
She has traveled the country giving seminar presentations for the training of hunting dogs and has been a professional hunt guide in Texas, using Labradors to retrieve.
Deborah retired from Seminars in 2000 and now dedicates her time to breeding Labradors. Having worked with so many dogs, she feels she knows what attributes make the best parents, and understands the importance of breeding dogs suitable for family, children, assistance or competition.
Deborah believes SplashDance Labrador Retrievers are splendid companions for home or field.

Health Guarantee
All puppies produced by SplashDance Kennels carry a 12-month congenital health guarantee. This guarantee includes both hip and eye defects which would prevent the dog from breeding deemed to be congenital in nature by a licensed veterinarian. The parents of Cassie and Caleb are certified for clear eyes as validated by the Canine Eye Registry Foundation (CERF) and good or better hips as validated by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA). Validation of grandparents does NOT guarantee puppies free from genetic defects affecting their hips and eyes. Moreover, there is no way to guarantee, regardless of the genetic health of the parents, that ANY puppy will be free of ANY or ALL genetic defects. Therefore, we offer this guarantee as recourse.
